Dr. Gerald Murphy

Dr. Gerald Murphy graduated in medicine from the University of London in 1979. He moved to Australia in 1990. Dr. Gerald is trained and proficient in skin conditions and the removal of skin lesions and skin cancers.

Dr. Samsun Nahar

Dr. Samsun graduated in medicine from Bangladesh in 2002 and obtained a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She previously worked as a GP in the Ayr, Jandowae, and Toowoomba regions of Queensland and Portland in Victoria. Dr. Samsun has a special interest in women's and children's health.

Dr.Nisha Rajee

Dr. Nisha graduated in medicine from India in 2003 and obtained a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She previously worked in Mildura Base Hospital and local family practice in Mildura since 2007. Nisha loves all areas of general practice but especially enjoys women's and children’s health and preventive health care. She is trained in minor surgical procedures such as skin lesions and skin cancer excisions.

Dr. Marina graduated in medicine from Egypt in 2013. She is a GP registrar under the Murray City Country Coast (MCCC) GP Training Program. She has a special interest in women’s and children's health.

Dr. Prashanthi Godakumbura

Dr. Prashanti graduated in medicine from Sri Lanka. In 1993, she obtained her fellowship
from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Prashanti has previously
worked at Mildura Base Hospital. She has a special interest in youth health, and she also
consults at Red Cliffs Secondary College as part of the Doctors in School Health program.

Dr SujayGanganaghatta Chandraiah

Dr. Sujay graduated in medicine from India in 2003 with a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. After working in rural India for 4 years, he moved to Australia to pursue further studies in public and child health. He returned to India in 2009 to work with the World Health Organisation (WHO) before moving to Echuca in 2011. He enjoyed working with the aboriginal community in Echuca. He has a special interest in men’s and children’s health, skin conditions, mental health, and anaesthesia. Dr. Sujay is a GP supervisor for the Murray City Country Coast (MCCC) GP Training Program.

Dr. Zinnat-E-Kulsum

Dr. Zinnat graduated in medicine from Bangladesh in 1999. She is a general practitioner under the Rural Workforce Agency of Victoria (RWAV) PFP program. She is working towards RACGP fellowship. She has worked as a general practitioner in Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia and has gained a wide range of knowledge working in a multicultural community. Her special interests are women’s health and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Omar Abdelrahman

Dr. Omar graduated Medical School in Egypt in 2007. He pursued further Training at Mildura Base Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Currently he is a GP Registrar under FSP  Training Program. He has special interest in Endocrinology, Dermatology and Women’s Health.

Dr. Md Abdul Mannan

Dr. Abdul graduated in 1994 from Bangladesh with a postgraduate diploma in chest medicine and cardiology. Prior to relocating to Australia, he worked at Bangladesh medical college hospital. In Australia he worked at Toowoomba Base Hospital, Portland Hospital, and Mildura Base Public Hospital. He has a special interest in chest medicine, cardiology, and skin conditions

In May 2023, I began working at Deakin Medical Centre. I have worked in various hospitals, residential care facilities, and clinics throughout Melbourne, Sydney, and Darwin.
I like to spend my free time on the river with my young son, going out for coffee or dinner.

I lived in Bendigo for 7 years prior where I graduated university and did a graduate year in Critical Care nursing at Bendigo Health.
